Job Description

  • Oversee the stock worker Level I.
  • Ensure that all paperwork is correctly processed.
  • Accept delivered packages and ensure proper amount is inside.
  • Unload merchandise.
  • Mark items with identifying codes, ensuring label is clear and visible.
  • Stock shelves with unpacked items.
  • Operate machinery for moving stock items.
  • Confirm all incoming shipments to be accurate by comparing the invoice to the order and ensure all inventory is in excellent condition.
  • Receive, count, and verify incoming orders Inspects new stock for damages or defects.
  • Label stock items with labeling equipment such as identification tags or stamps.
  • Pack and unpack items for storage in the warehouses.
  • Confirm said Pick Pack list in Oracle.
  • Report malfunctioning or damaged stock-handling equipment to Supervision.
  • Keep the stock room neat and orderly.
  • Inventory stock of materials, supplies, parts, and merchandise.
  • Count materials, equipment, merchandise, or supplies to help maintain an adequate inventory in the SCO warehouse.
  • Ensure that merchandise is stored in an orderly manner and is easily accessible when store shelves need to be replenished.
  • Ensure that work areas are cleaned and cleared from any Clutter and be safe to work.

NOTE: Due to the existence of a civil service list, candidates must have civil service status in the title of Housing Stock Worker to apply.
