OVERVIEW:

Construction Innovations is seeking a strong leader with a passion for construction to serve as a Project Executive. The Project Executive is responsible for overseeing the operations of a portfolio of projects within a division. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator with a strong customer-focus who has extensive experience in the construction industry along with experience in a manufacturing environment.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage the profit/loss of the assigned portfolio, as well as the establishment and adherence to budgets.

    Develop volume and profitability goals of the portfolio to ensure they support meeting division goals.
  • Ensure regular feedback from project management to sales and estimating is effectively delivered and acted upon.
  • Oversee design activities and deliverables to ensure conformance to project requirements and budgets.
  • Manage contract review and approval process and ensure timely execution.
  • Ensure timely invoicing and collection for project contracts and agreements.
  • Analyze project financial data and report trends and anomalies.
  • Review, adjust and report on monthly cost projections.
  • Obtain regular feedback from clients and resolve issues as needed.
  • Establish and report on portfolio performance metrics.
  • Evaluate overall direction and performance of the portfolio and recommend new strategies to support continuous improvement.
  • Oversee the creation, implementation and maintenance departmental processes and procedures.
  • Participate in operations meetings as needed to ensure Operations Team direction is aligned with the portfolio goals.
  • Identify and manage departmental resources and schedules.
  • Directly supervise Project Managers within the portfolio.
  • Oversee team member recruitment, on-boarding, employee engagement and issue resolution.
  • Identify skill gaps and continuous education needs, and facilitate training as needed for team members.
  • Travel as often as required to support the needs of the projects and goals of the division.
