PAL Technical Services is currently hiring an AME Apprentice to join our team in Halifax, NS.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in carrying out maintenance, repair, and modification on aircraft
- Complete work sheets for work accomplished
- Report unserviceable maintenance equipment
- Ensure that assigned aircraft are maintained in accordance with Customer Standards
- Carry out the inspection, maintenance and repair of company aircraft and related aircraft systems
- Report to the Shift Supervisor on issues affecting the serviceability of aircraft
- Ensure aircraft are maintained in accordance with the company Maintenance Control Manual and Transport Canada Regulations
- Comply with all company safety practices and procedures
- Complete all required documentation and task cards for the work accomplished related to the aircraft maintenance performed
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Must have a Transport Canada approved Aircraft Maintenance Course completed
- Must possess strong decision-making, organizational, and communication skills
- The ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Knowledge of airframe and power plant systems
- Troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of Transport Canada Regulations
