The Tour Specialist is part of Disney Corporate Creative Resources (DCCR). This team provides creative services and solutions to a broad array of corporate business units at The Walt Disney Company including D23: The Official Disney Fan Club. DCCR also facilitates the official guided tour of The Walt Disney Studios.

Tours of The Walt Disney Studios are offered year-round and include a backstage peek of the Studio Lot, including unique locations from favorite films and productions. The Tour Specialist is responsible for delivering unscripted engaging storytelling moments to internal stakeholders and special guests, while sharing information about The Walt Disney Company including history of the Studio Lot.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct guided walking tours throughout The Walt Disney Studios
  • Demonstrate adaptability to the fluctuating needs of our operations
  • Conduct administrative tasks such as confirming tour logistics, distributing collateral and staying current with operational updates or content


Basic Qualifications:

You’ll be a star if you have:

  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills
  • Ability to study and deliver scripted and un-scripted material
  • Exceptional guest service skills
  • Ability to work in a professional manner and adhere to a heightened performance expectation
  • Talent for developing relationships at all levels of the organization and across different lines of business
  • Creativity to find solutions and anticipate guests' needs to enhance their tour experience
  • Capacity to manage conflict resolution and make decisions through a delicate balance of integrity and partner resourcing


Preferred Qualifications:

It would be great if you also have:

  • Passion for The Walt Disney Company portfolio of brands
  • Previous tour guide experience
  • Knowledge of The Walt Disney Company and the Studio Lot

The hiring range for this position in California is $20.75 to $27.00 per hour. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
