The Team
The Northern Territory is composed of the divisions of Darwin and Lingiari. Divisional offices reside in Darwin’s city centre, along with the Territory’s state office. Divisional Offices are each led by a team leader and supported by a team comprehending an assistant team leader and a small cohort of divisional staff, working together to implement a number of projects necessary for the successful delivery of a federal event.
The State Office Executive supports the effective running of the Northern Territory Office.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Team Leaders, the Materials and Logistics Manager has responsibility for delivery of all elements of the Referendum materials and logistics project. Deliverables include materials inventory management, development of delivery and collection schedules, broader Referendum logistics and return of materials from polling places on Referendum Day. Other activities may come into scope throughout the lead up to and during the Referendum delivery period.
To excel you’ll have demonstrated ability in:
- Supervising warehouse operations,
- Maintaining inventory control,
- Maintaining pick and pack protocols with strong quality assurance measures,
- Meeting strict deadlines,
- Logistics experience and knowledge of Northern Territory conditions

- Any person who is, and seen to be active in political affairs, and intends to publicly carry on this activity, may compromise the strict neutrality of the AEC and cannot be considered.
