THE ROLE: MEDICAL BILLING REPRESENTATIVE

RESPONSIBILITIES:- Data entry including identifying all required information and accuracy of this information;
- Scanning and filing of documents for retention;
- Processing statements and returned mail;
- Basic computer knowledge and some data entry experience is a requirement;
- Understand billing terminology and processes required to process an accession from receipt into billing system;
- Must be able to adjust to increased workloads;
- Learns and becomes familiar with Billing policies and procedures;
- Answers phone calls;
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School or equivalent (GED)
- Minimum of 1-year of previous billing work experience
- Microsoft experience
- Data Entry experience
- Internet Ability to use and learn proprietary software systems
- Experience navigating third party websites
- Ability to work in a fast pace office environment, meeting daily goal volumes
- Previous Healthcare billing experience a plus!
