Position Summary
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters,
including but not limited to recruitment and selection, performance management,
employee relations, compensation and benefits, and compliance with employment laws

and regulations- Develop and implement policies and procedures that promote a positive and productive work environment and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Conduct employee investigations to determine appropriate Company response
and to ensure investigation outcomes are fair, equitable, and compliant with
company policy and state/federal employment laws
- Manage the onboarding process for new hires, including creating onboarding plans and conducting orientation sessions
- Conduct compensation assessments and consult with leadership in support of equity adjustments, promotions, leveling, offers and incentives
- Consult with leadership on delivering continuous performance and development feedback, which includes throughout the year, mid-year and year-end evaluations.
- Plan, direct, supervise, and coordinate work activities of direct reports relating to employment, compensation, labor relations, and employee relations.
- Perform diverse assignments, make recommendations, and communicate to management/employees covering a wide range of HR functions including employee relations, compensation, benefits, employment, training, recruitment, performance management, worker’s compensation, and AAP/EEO
- Participate with Leadership in organization, design, and restructuring to ensure optimal organizational effectiveness
- Maintain responsibility for personnel files and other confidential and employee-related files
Skills, Abilities, and Other Requirements:
Broad knowledge of human resources principles, practices, and procedures. Knowledge of California and Federal Labor Law. Understanding of the relationship between business objectives and HR initiatives. Ability to evaluate, analyze and resolve complex problems. Project management skills, strong customer service orientation (empathetic, patient, understanding), good listening skills, excellent written/oral communication and presentation skills. Ability to adapt to changing policies, procedures, priorities, and work environments. Ability to participate on and work with teams. Appreciation for individuals from diverse backgrounds and ability to form good working relationships with employees at all levels of the organization.
Education and Experience:
Five years’ experience as a Human Resources Generalist in a manufacturing environment. Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration/Management with a concentration in Human Resources or Organizational Development or equivalent.
Salary Range: $90k to $130k
