Titan Solar Power is currently seeking an experienced and driven Human Resources Generalist to join our team.

Summary:

The Human Resources Generalist will assist in the daily functions of the Human Resource (HR) department, including administering leave of absences, facilitating employee relations incidents, and enforcing company policies and practices. The HR Generalist champions commitment to upholding Titan Solar Powers mission, vision, and values.

Responsibilities:

  • Works closely with the recruiter and hiring manager to ensure a smooth and successful onboarding process, as well as recruitment plans, strategies and hiring needs within the region.
  • Processes biweekly payroll through HRIS system ensuring accuracy and compliance in accordance with state laws.
  • Issues termination letters and process final checks for all employee separations.
  • Responds to requests for information and assistance from pre-hires, employees, and management, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to Region HR Manager.
  • Reviews and process mail and email correspondence for the region including, but not limited to, wage garnishments, unemployment claims, VOE’s, etc.
  • Answers all questions that come through the Paycom "Ask Here portal.
  • Assists Region HR Manager with employee investigations, gathering data, and report preparation on proposed disciplinary actions and employee grievances.
  • Conducts research, compile statistical information, and prepare reports for Region HR Manager and management.
  • Reviews internal documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with policies.
  • Participates in the implementation of HR policies, training, and special projects as assigned.
  • Manages HRIS organizational chart, position seats, and all status changes, communicate changes accordingly.
  • Supports with local culture initiatives and travel within the region as requested.
  • Facilitates HR/Payroll training and coaching to local management and employees.
  • Maintains physical and digital files for employees and their documentation, ensuring confidentiality and file compliance.
  • Supports local management in evaluating employee performance and coach management as needed on Evals, PIP’s and any further support needed.
  • Executes new HR policies to appropriate management and ensure their understanding- follow up as needed.
  • Provides administrative support and education to employees with various topics, such as leaves of absence, current policies or policy changes and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Ensures compliance with state labor regulations, support as needed.
  • Demonstrates commitment to Titan Solar Power’s mission, vision and values.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, bilingual Spanish preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent prioritization and time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Proficient with G Suiteor related software.
  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS and talent management systems.
  • Able to travel up to 20% of the time.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required OR direct, commensurate experience in related field.
  • At least one year of human resource management experience is preferred.
  • SHRM-CP or PHR is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
  • Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.
